Final set of commission for this summer. 3 more images will be added on here before the end of this week.
1. Nicene Creed: Some bionic fighter with artificial musculature.
2. Stark Battletech Battle Armor: custom BTech BA.
3. Omnicron (New Horizon): Personal New Horizon character.
4. Sera: OC character drawn in my usual New Horizon style.
5. Rick Cressen (/w 6 Arms!): Alternate version of an OC. More arms for guns?
6. Custom Zeon Mobile Suit: Some Zeon-inspired Mobile suit. Came out kinda clonky and fat. :/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- All images are property of their owners.
Wow, again I am blown away by the quality of your mecha style artwork! I seriously wish I had your talents. I think the only thing that sucks about making video games is the amount of artwork needed before you piece it together with programming. I have very little artistic skill, especially compared to yours. I'm not sure how long this collection of characters took you, but it would take me prolly a week on just 1 simpler character in 1 pose, without all the major detail. I need to find some artists for next year when I start my game design projects. Well, take care and again, excellent work!
A non-mecha character, even a person with armor, generally takes no more than 1 hour and 30 minutes. Usually is around 40 minutes on a good day. This varies with the difficulty of the piece, of course. A mech takes up to 4 hours. Usually I shoot for 2 hours, but that doesn't always work out, since I'm rather new at it.
New or not man, you've got the talent. I love your work. Maybe one day I could hire you to help me with some game work? lol At your convenience of course. I'm not going to be assembling a team until next year.
Well, when you're finished with school, or at least by the time I'm ready to start recruiting a team next year, I would like to talk to you if possible about supplying some game art if you would be willing and have some time. Your work is amazing and I'd be honored to have you on my team.
The bulk is what makes Zeon suits better than feddy suits. If you stretch it vertically it might make it look a bit leaner, but I like it as it is, personally.
Great art!
