EDIT: Remind me never to try to ink mechs when I have the flu. Added the old sketch of the Champion II.
Start the Set off with the "Viper" 'mech from the 3055 TRO, Complete redesign as the original looked like wacky. Kept the basic chicken-walker style.
The Second is the redrawn "Wraith". No real design changes, just made it more modern and more evil looking (and less like a cockroach). Went a bit overboard with the BG (which is bigger than what I have scanned).
The third is my newest custom practice mech; the "Marduk". Inner Sphere Assault (95 ton) mech with 2x ER PPCs, 1x Light Gauss Rifle (ammo: 32), 2x SRM-6 (ammo: 30), and 2 Medium Lasers. This was originally going to be the redesign of my first Custom Mech "Typhon". Went in it's own direction over the course of the sketch and ended up being this thing.
The fourth is my custom mech, the "Firestorm" (Feuersturm) (45 tons). I got the idea from those WWII German Flamethrower troopers. Originally planned as a Firestarter (3058) variant, the design came out too different. So it's a new mech now. It still bears the same weight. Primary weapons are a Plasma Rifle (ammo: 20), and 2 flamers. It's backed up by 2 Medium Lasers and 2 Medium Pulse Lasers. Has 4 jumpjets.
The fifth is a custom Anvil. It has 2 ER large lasers, a Large Pulse laser, and a ER medium laser; Also has a ECM. Other stats are pretty similar to the official 3055 version.
The Sixth is the Vulcan II, for the 3063 TRO. Has 4 Small Pulse Lasers, and 3 Medium Pulse Lasers. Mounts 7 Jumpjets. The design is based both on the original Vulcan and the Custom one I made months ago; one of my 4 earliest Btech designs.
The Seventh is a custom Jagermech. It's losely based on the original design in the 3025 TRO. This model has 2 Rotary AC/5s and 2 Medium Pulse lasers.
The eighth and last is the Champion II, for the 3063 TRO. It has a Heavy PPC, 3 SRM-6s, and 3 Medium Lasers.
Battletech (c) Wizkids Original Viper design+stats by 3055 TRO team New Art and Design by me.
Those are Large Pulse lasers. The Viper is a second-line Clan 'Mech with what was (at the time of its introduction) something quite deadly - a targeting computer. Unfortunately, the targeting computer can no longer be used in conjunction with pulse lasers. Which is pretty much all this 'Mech has.
It's reverse joint but i guess chicken walker works lol, great design.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
